Shelia D. Duncan, LCSW-C is a Christian Counseling practice that is Christ Centered, Biblically Based, Kingdom Minded and Holy Spirit Led. We are an oasis for women to be healed, refreshed, renewed and reconnected to the Lover of their Souls, Yeshua ( Jesus Christ). We provide Online Distinctively Christian Counseling for Christian women using the Holy Scripture (The Word of God) as the foundation of truth.
Our vision is for women's lives to be transformed spiritually, mentally, emotionally and physically by Yeshua (Jesus), the Word and the Holy Spirit.
Our mission is to glorify Yeshua by providing women with Christ-Centered Services.
Yeshua ( Jesus) is the answer to life issues and the only One who truly heals the broken heart and refreshes the weary soul and mind.

Women are busy like never before and they have the tendency to put others before themselves while neglecting their own spiritual, emotional, mental and physical health. This was never Father God's intention. Many women find themselves like Martha who was preoccupied and distracted with serving and doing for others instead of being like her sister Mary who was preoccupied with making Yeshua (Jesus) her priority. When a woman's priority is out of order, she may feel like she is all over the place, a hot mess, anxious, unstable and unsettled. She may second guess herself and feel like she does not know her purpose in life or feel like she can't hear from God. Does this sound familiar? I specialize in helping Christian women to navigate through life transitions, overcome feelings of depression, anxiety, and unbelief, build up their faith and Christ confidence and teach them to forgive themselves and others.
As a Christian Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Christian Counselor, I am committed to the well-being of all my clients and go above and beyond to cater to their needs. I love helping my clients to grow their faith in Yeshua, become the person that He ordained for them to be and develop the tools to overcome life’s challenges.

Distinctively Christian Counseling
Distinctively Christian Counseling is the integration of Christ Centered, Biblically Based, Holy Spirit Led Counseling with psychotherapy interventions such as Supportive Counseling, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Psycho-education and Evidence Based Intervention Cognitive Behavior Therapy for women who suffer from Depression, Anxiety or Adjustment Disorders. We help women to overcome limited beliefs, negative self perception, the enemy's lies, negative self talk and negative thoughts so that they can see themselves as the Daughters of The King and live their lives in a way that honors and glorifies Yeshua. It is counseling from Father God's perspective of women, their problems and His solution.
We also help women who are experiencing grief and loss and who do not have a mental health diagnosis but would like to talk with a Christian Mental Professional about life challenges, relational, professional and spiritual issues.
All sessions currently are provided through an online therapy platform that is HIPAA compliant. Client's information is stored in a digital file.
